This Privacy Policy explains how Ningbo EZ Irrigation Technology Co., Ltd. (“EZ Irrigation”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you visit our website (the “Site”) or send us a product inquiry. The Site is a business-to-business product catalog. We do not sell products online, and we do not take payments through the Site.

2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
When you submit the inquiry form on our Get a Quote or Contact page, we collect:
- your name, email address and company name (required);
- the products you are interested in and the quantity (required);
- optionally: your phone or WhatsApp number, country or market, working pressure, application and your message;
- any file you choose to attach (for example a drawing or specification);
- your agreement to this Privacy Policy.
- the page you sent the inquiry from and the product references in your inquiry list (product ID and SKU), which the form submits automatically with your inquiry.
If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we receive the information you include in that message, such as your name, contact details and the content of the conversation.
2.2 Information collected automatically
Our web server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request) for security and troubleshooting. Our inquiry form is set up not to store your IP address with your inquiry. We do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking tools on the Site.
3. Cookies and local storage
We use a small number of functional cookies and browser storage that are needed for the Site to work:
- Inquiry list: when you add products to your inquiry list, we store the product IDs in a cookie named
ez_enquiry_ids(kept for 30 days) and product details (name, SKU and link) in your browser’s local storage (ez_enquiry_list), so the list can be pre-filled in the inquiry form. The list is cleared automatically after you submit an inquiry. You can also clear the list on the Get a Quote page or in your browser settings. - Website platform cookies: our website software (WordPress and WooCommerce) may set technical cookies needed for security and basic page functions. They do not identify you for marketing purposes.
We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking.
3.1 Embedded map
Our Contact page shows an embedded Google Maps map of our factory location. When that page loads, your browser connects to Google, which may receive your IP address and set its own cookies under the Google Privacy Policy.
4. How we use your information
- to answer your inquiry and prepare quotations, samples and product information;
- to communicate with you about your inquiry and any resulting order;
- to send you a confirmation email after you submit the form;
- to protect the Site against spam and misuse;
- to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not send marketing newsletters through the Site, and we do not sell or rent your personal information.
5. Legal basis
Where data-protection laws such as the EU/UK GDPR apply, we process your information because it is necessary to respond to your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business (Art. 6(1)(f)), and, where required, on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
6. Sharing your information
Your information is used by our sales team. We share it only with:
- service providers that host the Site and deliver our email, acting on our instructions ([hosting / email provider names, if the client wants them listed]);
- Google, when you view the embedded map on our Contact page (see section 3.1);
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us through a WhatsApp link. That conversation is subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy;
- authorities, where we are required to by law.
7. International transfers
We are based in China, so information you send us is processed in China [and in the country where the Site is hosted, if different]. Where the law requires, we take reasonable steps to protect your information when it is transferred.
8. How long we keep your information
We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and our business relationship, and then for [retention period, e.g. 3 years] after our last contact, unless the law requires a longer period. Inquiry records, including submissions filtered as spam, are stored until we delete them manually.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to object to or restrict its use, and to receive a copy of it. To make a request, email info@ezgation.com. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for your inquiry.
11. Children
The Site is intended for business customers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last changed.
